Kwuarm potion (unf) are used to create Super strength and Weapon poisons. Because antifires are often used to train Herblore, and adding Clean kwuarm to a Vial of water gives little experience, many players avoid the tedium of making unfinished potions and buy them directly from the Grand Exchange. This opens up an opportunity to make unfinished Kwuarm potions for profit. You can sometimes make money by just using Clean kwuarm on a vial of water, but the real trick is using the scroll of cleansing. This Dungeoneering reward costs 20,000 tokens, and gives you a 10% chance of not using up a clean kwuarm when creating a kwuarm potion (unf). This means that, on average, you would only need 9 clean kwuarm and 10 vials of water to create 10 kwuarm potion (unf). Getting this scroll can take up to 10 hours depending on your Dungeoneering level and other skills, but it is absolutely worth it if you plan to make unfinished potions. Before buying the ingredients in bulk, make sure that the method is profitable by making one unfinished potion and testing the profit. If the profit is high enough, buy clean kwuarm and vials of water in a 9:10 ratio; it may be worthwhile to put in an offer for clean kwuarm at a lower price, so they don't buy instantly but they steadily come in. Withdraw 14 kwuarm and 14 vials of water, and use one on the other. A menu will open, and click to make-all. After the inventory is complete, you should be left with 14 unfinished kwuarm potions and 2 herbs. Deposit your inventory, withdraw 14 herbs and 14 vials of water, and repeat. Each inventory should take about 23 seconds with banking, which means you can make around 2,000 potions per hour.
