Abyssal area Abyssal Area Abyssal Area
rdfs:comment
The abyssal area contains abyssal leeches, abyssal guardians, abyssal walkers, and abyssal demons. Here, only the abyssal demons are not aggressive. The other abyssal monsters follow the normal rules of aggressiveness and will attack all players regardless of their combat level. Walkers, guardians, and leeches spawn extremely fast, while abyssal demons take longer to respawn. Despite being in the same plane as the Abyss, and having almost the same name, players do not lose any Prayer points on entry. The monsters in this area can drop runecrafting pouches, which are useful for Runecrafting. The Dwarf multicannon cannot be set up here. The abyssal area contains: * Abyssal demons - level 124 (85 Slayer needed) * Abyssal guardians - level 59 * Abyssal walkers - level 81 * Abyssal leeches - level 41 Unlike the Abyss, it is not a multi-combat area. There is only one Fairy Ring back to Zanaris in the south-east corner of the cavern, and the only other exit is via teleport. When entering you are neither skulled nor drained of prayer. Just like the Abyss, the Abyssal walkers, guardians and leeches follow the same rules of aggressiveness as well as the non-aggressiveness of the Abyssal demons. The abyssal area contains: * The Abyssal dragon - (Level 760) - (requires 50 Abyssal demon kills) * Abyssal demons - (Level 124) - (Need Level 85 Slayer) * Abyssal guardians - (Level 59) * Abyssal walkers - (Level 81) * Abyssal leeches - (Level 41) Unlike the Abyss, it is not a multicombat area. There is only one fairy ring back to Zanaris in the south-east corner of the cavern; the only other exit is via teleport. The abyssal area contains: * Abyssal leeches - (Level 72) * Abyssal guardians - (Level 79) * Abyssal walkers - (Level 77) * Abyssal demons - (Level 98) - (Requires level 85 Slayer to kill.) The only way to exit this area is via the fairy ring back to Zanaris in the south-east corner of the cavern, or via teleportation.

Although it is part of the Abyss, the Abyssal Area is not connected with it. Therefore, when entering the Abyssal Area you will not be skulled or be drained of prayer, so Abyssal bracelets are not needed. This means that it cannot be used to access the runecrafting area of the Abyss. This area is used by those who have access to the area and are looking for runecrafting pouches, as players do not have to risk bringing in expensive equipment and supplies into the Abyss. Just like the Abyss, the Abyssal walkers, guardians and leeches follow the same rules of aggressiveness as well as the non-aggressiveness of the Abyssal demons. You cannot set a cannon in the Abyssal Area. Here, only the abyssal demons are not aggressive. The other abyssal monsters follow the normal rules of aggressiveness and will attack all players regardless of their combat level. There is only one fairy ring back to Zanaris in the south-east corner of the cavern; the only other exit is via teleport. Here, only the Abyssal demons are not aggressive, the others follow the normal rules of aggressiveness. So for higher combat leveled players the only monsters that are aggressive will be the Abyssal walkers. Walkers, guardians, and leeches spawn extremely fast, while abyssal demons take longer to respawn. In the center of the area there are four portals, all of them by each edge of the outside center. To enter into these portals a player needs 50 Abyssal demon kills, and inside the center lurks the terrifying Abyssal dragon. A player would need an extremely high combat level and strong equipment to take on this beast. If a player is lucky, s/he may be obtain a piece of Abyssal equipment as a drop from the monster. Despite being in the same plane as the Abyss, and having almost the same name, the combat rules in this area are just like in any normal dungeon: players are not skulled when entering this zone, so there is no need to wear a Forinthry brace here. The monsters in this area do drop runecrafting pouches, which are useful for Runecrafting. The abyssal area contains abyssal leeches, abyssal guardians, abyssal walkers, and abyssal demons.
