Farodar made his first debut in assisting the night elves during the War of the Ancients, in which he had been attempting to cut off Legion reinforcements to Hyjal. It was a dance of death between him and the demon pit lord Garash'igg. He flat out denied reinforcement from the Moon Guard, having been disgusted by the Highborne. He warned them that if they ever came to him again, friendly or not, he would not hesitate to cleanse them from the forest.

It was a dance of death between him and the demon pit lord Garash'igg. He flat out denied reinforcement from the Moon Guard, having been disgusted by the Highborne. He warned them that if they ever came to him again, friendly or not, he would not hesitate to cleanse them from the forest. Despite growing cocky in his endeavors to destroy the Legion invading force, he was extremely limited in his ability to actually accomplish this. He lead rangers and swordsmen in what started out to be a properly armed force. However due to unknown treason, Farodar met heavy casualties at the hands of Garash'igg who had met them by surprise on their march to destroy a Forge Camp that had been under recent construction.
