Kvar Edgerly
rdfs:comment
Kvar had a peaceful upbringing in the Capital City of Lordaeron. Kvar was a skilled clockwork engineer , like his father before him, and made simple clocks, oversized watches and rusty music boxes for a living. During the events of the Second War Kvar served the Church of the Holy Light, since there was little demand for his Engineering skills. The devastating Second War against the Orcish Horde left the Alliance of Lordaeron in a state of disarray. When the drums of war had once again faded the economy buckled under the upkeep of vast armies and numerous Orc internment camps. Dissatisfaction eventually led Gilneas and Stromgarde to secede from the Alliance. Kvar too was frustrated about the high taxes and saw no benefit in keeping the Orcs alive in internment camps. He’d seen the savagery

He’d seen the savagery they committed in the Second War and had little compassion for them. Thus, when the Alliance splintered Kvar moved to Gilneas whose isolationist policy he much approved.
