The Telecom Incident Information Sharing and Analysis Center Japan (Telecom-ISAC Japan), was founded in July 2002 by seven major domestic Internet service providers as a voluntary non-profit organization. In order to ensure safe and reliable communications services, members of Telecom-ISAC Japan have established programs for sharing and analyzing relevant information with the objective of carrying out timely measures in dealing with cyberthreats more effectively than if the corporations acted alone.
