Examples of debuff Elements are LoRes, Imbecile, and BatEye. Imbecile, for instance, lowers an opponents Magic Attack stat. Lynx is one such boss to perform it, and does so to lower the probability that a character can cause massive amounts of damage by exploiting his Innate Element. This is only one such tactic for the use of debuffs. This article is a stub about a miscellaneous detail. You can help Chrono Wiki by [ expanding it]. A Debuff is a spell or status effect that worsens the victim's ability to fight or move. Most debuffs belong to the Mage class and subclasses. Examples of debuffs would be Windfield and Rooting. The counterpart to a Debuff is a buff, which somehow improves the target's ability to fight or move. A debuff is an effect, usually from a skill or spell, that temporarily reduces statistics to make an opponent less effective or more easily killed. A debuff is an effect, usually from a skill or spell, that temporarily reduces statistics to make an opponent less effective or more easily killed. Debuffs are temporary negative effects in Xenoblade Chronicles X. They are a type of Battle Effect and are the opposite of buffs. Debuffs can be imposed by weather or enemy battle arts. To recover from a debuff, a corresponding Recovery Art must be used granting a buff with an opposite effect. It is also possible to recover from a debuff by waiting a certain amount of time for it to wear off on its own. Debuffs with higher levels have stronger effects and tend to last longer than debuffs with lower levels. Resistance to debuffs mainly depends on the difference in level between the user and the target. An enemy/party member that is higher-leveled than the party member/enemy is more resistant to debuffs and their debuffs are more likely to successfully apply, and vice versa. Certain Soul Voices can allow players to ignore enemy debuff resistance (but not immunity), and Overdrive, the Resistance Reducer augment, and the Deep Fang and Tactical Analyst skills increase the likelihood of successfully inflicting a debuff. A Debuff is a type of spell which decreases the target's characteristics. The target might be the caster, teammates, or summons. The effect of the buff might last a set number of turns or for the duration of the battle. All classes have at least one buff spell in their arsenal. The effect of a debuff can be removed by unbewitchment spells. Debuff is a Status Effect occurred by the S.P.A.M.'s Underpowered Towers ability. A debuff is a negative effect that can be put on a player or a mob, without necessarily causing damage. Examples of debuff Elements are LoRes, Imbecile, and BatEye. Imbecile, for instance, lowers an opponents Magic Attack stat. Sometimes the term debuff is also used to describe the act of removing buffs on hostile targets, but it is better to refer to such an action as a dispel or cure after the common spells that remove such effects. Another popular name for removing debuffs is decurse. A good example for a multi-function debuff is the Hunter's Mark. All attackers on that target gain increased ranged attack power; additionally the target cannot hide from the Hunter, no matter if they stealth, turn invisible, or morph into beast form. Hunter's Mark, being in the Arcane school, is removable with Cloak of Shadows and other skills and talents which remove magical debuffs. Debuffs come in many varieties and most of them are race/class specific spells or abilities. Debuffs are also color coded, with poison debuffs having a green border, magic debuffs a blue border, physical debuffs a red border, diseases a brown border, and curses a purple border. __NOEDITSECTION__ A debuff is a passive, mostly temporary, detraction of a character. Anything which decreases elements such as attributes, causes decreases in total health and mana pool or regeneration, or direct decreases in combat ability through physical or magical attack power, is considered a debuff. Debuffs are sometimes categorized based on how the debuff is gained: Items - some items will grant temporary debuffs when consumed, in addition to buffs. Active Skills - some active skills will bestow temporary debuffs, to either just the one target or to all targets within a certain range of the effect being used. Buffin vastakohta.
