Order of Peaceful Repose
rdfs:comment
The Order of Peaceful Repose was a sect of the Brotherhood of Shinsei devoted to Emma-O, the Fortune of Death. It had its roots in pre-Kami funerary traditions, formed by priests who developed methods of pacifying or banishing the spirits those who did not pass peacefully from Ningen-do. Every Great Clan had at least one small monastery of Peaceful Repose somewhere within its lands. In the 12th century the monks of this Order formed an alliance with the newly-formed Brothers of Rebirth.
