The assistant floaters are particularly valued in this case with short staffing and help with the healers on the ward. It takes a year less to become a ward floater, but they cannot take any high intensity cases without specialisation in an area. Some floaters choose to specialise outside their area, but help with other the departments. They can only take intensive cases in their chosen field.
