George Rempor was a Human male politician in the Empire of the Hand and later the leading personage in the post-Imperial government of the planet Relaea. Born and raised on the Inner Rim world Bilbringi, he participated in anti-Confederacy of Independent Systems propaganda operations directed by the Commission for the Protection of the Republic in his youth, continuing such activities under the aegis of COMPNOR as the Galactic Republic transitioned into what became known as the Galactic Empire. During the rule of Galactic Emperor Palpatine's New Order, Rempor worked in the Imperial shipyards of Bilbringi, overseeing a resources dock in low orbit of the planet. He remained in this position from 14 BBY to 9 BBY, when he was reassigned to the Mid Rim world Ansion to control ore shipping from a newly opened mining facility. However, a fatal accident caused by him in 7 BBY thwarted further promotion and Rempor was imprisoned on Ansion with a term of twelve years.
