The Lost Lands also featured several new races, including the ophidians, the terathans, and a race of cyclops, as well as forest, swamp, desert, and ice terrain with new, exotic animals. Also featured in the Lost Lands were a new type of dinosaur-like mount known as the ostard. It reaches to the Rainspeaker Rapids and stretches from the lands surrounding the fallen Lifeblood Pillar to the Makers' Overlook.
