United States Presidential Election, 2000 (Florida Voted Blue)
rdfs:comment
The 2000 election was the closest election in American History. It pitted former Vice President Al Gore against the son of a former US President, George W. Bush. The vote came down to Florida where recounts were taking place. The Supreme Court tried to step in but people called this the government ruining states rights as Florida's was that if under a 0.5% a recount would be held in all places like so. Just before the Supreme Court was to halt all recounts the vote came out and Al Gore was announced the winner.
