A herder of the Rowan trees, Quickbeam was one of the quickest thinking and acting of all Ents, He earned his name in one day by answering "yes" to an older Ent before the elder had finished his question. One ot the younger Treeherds, he was tall, longdithe-limbed. resilient, with a resonant higher voice. During the Ent-moot which led to Saruman's downfall, he entertained Merry and Pippin since he had already madeup his mind about the appropriate course of action. In his joy of nature, he was given to frequent laughter; he liked to sing and sway before his rowan trees, and he even lullabied the two hobbits.Quickbeam was considered rash by his much slower fellows, yet he acted wisely; and his quick decisions were often seconded by his comrades after more time. Quickbeam was considered one o Recruit the youngest ent of Fangorn Forest, Quickbeam (Bregalad in Sindarin). The rowan-trees in his keeping suffered greatly at the hands of Saruman's Orcs, so he was the first ent to make his mind up at the Entmoot. He sheltered the two hobbits, Merry and Pippin, in his home while the other ents made up their minds at the entmoot. He played a great part in the Ents' resulting attack on Isengard. Like other ents he can throw rocks or deal AOE damage to units. His youth and eagerness allow his normal movement speed to be faster than that of all other ents. He is recruited at level 10 from the Entmoot settlement expansion.
