Beckett and Savage Families
rdfs:comment
The Beckett and Savage Families were two important families in Cloverdale that descended from Joan & Michael Savage. The Beckett Family was a prominent family in Cloverdale. They were notable for running Beckett's Diner and for their business savvy, much like the Landgraab Family, but with more the "common man" appeal. They are in part descended from the Savage Family, as Joan & Michael's daughter Caroline Savage married Richard Beckett after he murdered his first wife. They had a son, Nathan, to whom the diner was passed down. It stayed in the family for several generations until they married into the Weaver Family.

The Savage family was a small family descended from Joan & Michael's other daughter Elizabeth Savage. She had two daughters, Tiberia and Opal. Tiberia married and had a son herself, who in turn married a woman from the Beckett family. Their child was Mercede (McCarthy) Beckett, who went on to marry her distant cousin, William Beckett, unifying the family line. Both families can be found on the Weaver Family Tree, here.
