The widespread growth and expansion of Social Media Networks such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and several others spurred a new path of innovation in corporations. Project managers and change managers saw the value that could be gained from the more fluid communication allowed by social media. The idea behind Corporate Social Media is to integrate the social aspect of business communication and in so doing enhance the communication between workers.
