The Rule of Flannel was established by Darth Lucas to persuade millions in the way of his teachings. They were essentially as follows: 1. * Become a geek or nerd. Some are already born into this however. 2. * Wear flannel. Lots of it. 3. * Get into film school, produce cheap but effective films, mostly about space and guys with horns. 4. * Make uber amounts of money through merchandising. 5. * Release something the fans hate. 6. * Release something the fans love. 7. * Glamour in the fame. 8. * Repeat with successor.

Darth Lucas was able to train several acolytes with this method successfully, however distaste for his flannel led to his eventual death by his successors.
