Rotgut is an undead zombie, possessing a blue-grey coloured rotting body. He has a bald head, huge white eyes with black pupils, a chunk missing from his right ear, a broken nose, a double chin and a mouth full of rotting, crooked teeth. Rotgut has many scars carved into his face and arms. He is dressed in traditional cowboy garb, wearing a dark brown, battered stetson hat with a hole in the back, the hedband on his hat has sharp teeth fixed into it. He wears a ragedy, crimson short-sleeved checkered shirt, his left sleeve is ripped and shorer than his right. The Rotgut is a tavern in the Gray Mountains. Locals love to it there as they were brought up on the sort of food that causes bromide. It is a usual practical joke among the natives to recommend it to visitors. Rotgut was a form of alcohol. Karth Rotgut is one of King Alteon's 299th Elite Knight whom betrayed his king for promise of riches and power by the necromancers of Doomwood. Unlike the other Knights, he was a rude and vulgar bully who exercised his arm by raising his drinks to his wide mouth instead of aiding others. How he managed a place amongst the Kings elite 299 is a mystery. Perhaps they thought they could change the ways of this cruel and gluttonous warrior. (Daredvil I#239) - As a grown man Rotgut became a slasher killing people because he feared they were killing him. Rotgut stilled lived with his mother. He called and tormented a pregnant woman, accusing her of poisoning her baby. Matt Murdoch encountered Rotgut when he flipped out in a restaurant, accusing them of serving dead cow, filled with terror, hormones, and poison. Rotgut fled when Matt tried to calm him down, and then he hired and slew a prostitute, to stop her from spreading her disease.

Rotgut has a pair of long, rotting arms, with long withered hands, that ocasionly snap off. He wears a muddy cow-skin waistcoat over the shirt, his waistcoat is just as ragedy as his shirt. He wears ripped light grey jeans. Rotgut wears a traditional cowboy belt, with a golden belt buckle, with a bull across it. on his feet he wears light brown cowboy boots with spurs. His limbs can fall off and have minds their own. It is implied that Rotgut gives off a foul stench, likely due to being dead. Rotgut was a form of alcohol. There he met his end at the hand of The Hero thus ending the tale of a traitorous knight. He asked the old lady about it but she said that she only lived with her baby boy. After Daredevil left Rotgut went down to the basement of the building to put poison in the water supply. While he was doing this Hilda, Daredevil's friend, who served Rotgut a burger at the diner she worked in, was watching him. When Hilda saw that Rotgut was putting poison in the water she attempted to stop him but got knocked out by Rotgut. Luckily Daredevil who came to help when he learned what she was doing saved her. The Fat Boys learned about what Rotgut did and proceed to tell all the tenants that the water was poisoned. Daredevil fought Rotgut but Rotgut kept on saying they were the same trying to cut out the disease before it kills the organism. While the two were fighting Rotguts mother drank the poisoned water and when she found out her son poisoned she called him a bad cell. Realizing that he was cancer Rotgut tried to kill himself but Daredevil stopped him and gave him to the authorities. The Rotgut is a tavern in the Gray Mountains.
