Conservation Status Conservation status
rdfs:comment
A Conservation Status is a designation applied to each species determined by the number of living members. It is a feature introduced in Zoo Tycoon 2. There are five groups. Low Risk is a green circle with a paw print. There are an abundance of species of these animals. They are of least concern. Vulnerable is a yellow triangle with a paw print. These species experienced a slight decline in numbers. They are of more concern than low risk species but have not experienced intense population declines. Endangered is an orange diamond with a paw print. These animals have a risk of becoming extinct unless there is human intervention. Critically Endangered is a red pentagon with a paw print. These animals have a severe risk of becoming extinct and human intervention is necessary for the specie The conservation status of a species is an indicator of the likelihood of that species continuing to survive either in the present day or the future. Many factors are taken into account when assessing the conservation status of a species: not simply the number remaining, but the overall increase or decrease in the population over time, breeding success rates, known threats, and so on. For threatened species and species believed to have become extinct after 1500, the categories are based on the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) Red List 1994 or 2001 categories. Such species should be classified using the criteria directly using the most up-to-date database. The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species is the best-known worldwide conservation status listing and ranking system. The system divides threatened species into three categories: Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), and Vulnerable (VU). It is estimated that the Pseudooridundus population rivals that of North American South. Many people, myself included, believe that the population of Larvae greatly exceed the previous expectation. While conservation for the Pseudooridundus genus is not exactly a priority with the United States Government, there are a few groups who are dedicated to the preservation of this unique group of creatures.

For threatened species and species believed to have become extinct after 1500, the categories are based on the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) Red List 1994 or 2001 categories. Such species should be classified using the criteria directly using the most up-to-date database. These animals have a severe risk of becoming extinct and human intervention is necessary for the species to exist. Extinct is a white "X" with a paw print. An extinct species has no extant members in it. The conservation status of a species is an indicator of the likelihood of that species continuing to survive either in the present day or the future. Many factors are taken into account when assessing the conservation status of a species: not simply the number remaining, but the overall increase or decrease in the population over time, breeding success rates, known threats, and so on. The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species is the best-known worldwide conservation status listing and ranking system. The system divides threatened species into three categories: Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), and Vulnerable (VU).
