Battle of Armageddon
rdfs:comment
The Battle of Armageddon was the legendary final conflict between the Forces of Light and the Forces of Darkness. The event was even foreseen and foretold by the Elder Gods among all both mortal and immortal alike who feared the Great Battle that will end all battles, and even all of reality itself. It took place in the southlands of the realm of Edenia as the Apocalypse begins, to decide the fate of the universe. The battle occurred next to the Pyramid of Argus. The Battle of Armageddon is a battle prophesied to occur on or around Megiddo in Israel according to the Book of Revelation in the Bible. At Megiddo, the Antichrist will summon forth his mortal and demonic armies to challenge the Lord's authority. God will strike him and his master, the fallen angel Lucifer, and end his dominion over the earth, ushering in the Millennial Reign. The Battle of Armageddon is the battle prophesied in Scripture where the Antichrist will gather up his armies to make war with Jesus Christ as He appears from heaven with His army of saints. In the book "Armageddon", Nicolae Carpathia amasses troops in the Valley of Megiddo called the Unity Army in the hopes of storming both Petra and Jerusalem in addition to destroying Jesus. However, the battle turns against Nicolae in "Glorious Appearing" when Jesus uses "the sword of His mouth" to slay His enemies en masse, causing great casualties and eventually spelling defeat for Nicolae. (The "sword of His mouth" is meant to be symbolic for the Word of God, or Scripture. Evidence of this is written in Ephesians 6:17: "...the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God".) A hex wargame depicting the Biblical concept of Armageddon overlain on the Cold War geopolitical situation. Boardgamegeek Entry.

It took place in the southlands of the realm of Edenia as the Apocalypse begins, to decide the fate of the universe. The battle occurred next to the Pyramid of Argus. The Battle of Armageddon is based on the same epic and legendary conflict with the same name "Armageddon" among its different aliases and names, said and foretold in many religions (both pagan and monotheistic) and doomsday prophecies that it is the ultimate battle that will end all wars, and yet even worse, destroy all traces of life forever.
