Brett Lindros (b. December 2nd 1975 in London, Ontario, Canada) is a former professional right winger who briefly played in the National Hockey League with the New York Islanders. Drafted 9th overall of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft from the Kingston Frontenacs by the Islanders, Lindros was a skilled power forward who was expected to help the rebuilding Isles in the years to come. Unfortunately, he suffered a major head injury against the Los Angeles Kings on November 2nd 1995; this injury eventually forced him to officially retire from competition on May 1st 1996.
