Anders of Mindelan
rdfs:comment
Anders of Mindelan (AN-derz of MIHN-duh-lahn) is the first child of Piers and Ilane of Mindelan, and Keladry's oldest brother. He had already been a knight of Tortall in 446 HE, which means that he had been born in 427 HE at the latest. Before Kel left for her page training, he gave her advice about the skills that she had learned in the Yamani Empire, saying that if she used her skills a lot, the other boys would think that she was showing off. During the Scanran war, Anders stayed at Mindelan with his family and defended it from and Scanrans who made it that far across the border.

n33:abstract
Anders of Mindelan (AN-derz of MIHN-duh-lahn) is the first child of Piers and Ilane of Mindelan, and Keladry's oldest brother. He had already been a knight of Tortall in 446 HE, which means that he had been born in 427 HE at the latest. Sir Anders had been a good knight, being an asset for the realm in the Immortals War. However, he sustained a leg injury during the war, which made him unfit for further fighting, because his leg stayed stiff. Anders married Vorinna of Richcaffery probably in the second half of the 440s and they have five children. His oldest son, Lachran, began his training for knighthood in 459 HE.
