The Ninth Republic of Egelion was created as the Partido Unido de los Trabajadores took over the power from the former Partido Nacionalista de la República. The first change happened in June 3362, when PUT gained a majority of the Senate. Later in June 3364 and November 3365 the party gained both a majority, the presidency andtwo thirds of the senate. Previously there had been several republics but much of the knowledge from those past days are now gone. The Ninth Republic of Egelion is generally considered to be the current epoch of the republic.
