Somaz was a male Dressellian treasurer hunter active during the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire. He devoted most of his adult life to searching for the artifact known as the Arachedron sculpture, which he eventually found on board the derelict luxury cruiser Reverie. Whilst he attempted to retrieve the sculpture he was interrupted by the bounty hunters Boba Fett and the Strom brothers. Despite the hunters presence, Somaz retrieved the sculpture which triggered a large number of Arachedron to attack all four men present. Fett took the sculpture, which the insects were attracted to, and hurled it away into the depths of the ship and used the distraction to escape. Somaz begged Fett to save him and offered payment, which Fett accepted. T
