Components include two DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA humbucking pickups at the bridge and neck flanking an IBZ/USA single-coil, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. The image on this guitar, entitled "Unraveled Consciousness", features a human face shape formed by a twirling ribbon against a cloud background. It was handpainted and signed by Pamelina H. This represents only the "stock" configuration, as customers could customize the guitar to their own desires. The customer could select the pickup configuration and pickups, the fretboard material and inlays, the headstock, the hardware color and more. The UCGR8 was discontinued after 1991 although a similar Custom Graphics series was offered in 1992.
