Chardin Chardin
rdfs:comment
Master Chardin is the Lord of the Shining Court of the Thieves' Guild of Tai-tastigon, and thus one of the five top officials under the Sirdan Theocandi. The Shining Court assesses the value of fur, fabric, and works of art. Master Chardin is considered the only one of the appointed officials of the Guild who would have nothing to fear if the Sirdan was overthrown because he was considered "supremely competent". He is a thin, balding young man, who lives for his work and the pleasure of seeing and handling the beautiful things that pass through his court. Chardin was a classy hotel in Paris where Mata Hari stayed in 1916. → This article is a stub. You can help us by adding to it. Check out the talk page for hints on what needs to be done. She had never met this thin, prematurely balding young man before; but like everyone in the Guild, she had heard much about him. He was perhaps the only one of Theocandi's appointed officials who would have nothing to fear if the present Sirdan was overthrown: Men-dalis would never be fool enough to dismiss anyone so supremely competent. No one, however, knew how Chardin himself would vote. He was a man who lived for his work, for the pure pleasure of handling the rich things that came into his court each day, and was known to be almost constitutionally apolitical.

Η ονομασία " " σχετίζεται ετυμολογικά με την λέξη "[[ ]]". Jame said no one knew who Chardin could vote for, though Darinby and Men-dalis thought for Theocandi. When the time came, Chardin came to the Conclave of Electors, but then hearing that Carbinia was not voting, he was inspired to do the same, and left without voting. Chardin was a classy hotel in Paris where Mata Hari stayed in 1916. → This article is a stub. You can help us by adding to it. Check out the talk page for hints on what needs to be done.
