Forum:NB: Uploading Issues

When I though there might just be an error, I tried the basic upload form just to see, and got this message: Now, I wouldn't say I'm a veteran Wookieepedian or anything, but I've been around and doing stuff for a while. And I've uploaded several images in the past with no such problem, or any trouble at all. Could someone let me know what I might be doing wrong, or need to do to get this fixed? Or is this some odd glitch? Any help would be very much appreciated. Bella'Mia 04:02, October 18, 2011 (UTC)

Bella'Mia 04:02, October 18, 2011 (UTC) Well, your userpage doesn't give me an "email this user" link, so that tells me that unless you've turned that feature off, you don't have a confirmed email address in your preferences. As the warning above states, a confirmed email address is required to upload images. That's the most likely issue. I don't have access to the filter's code to see specifically what all the restrictions are, so if that doesn't help you, you'll need help from an admin. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Tuesday, October 18, 2011, 05:02 UTC * It turns out that I do have that feature turned off, but I also didn't have a confirmed e-mail address according to a look through my preferences. I could swear I did that before, but...what are you going to do, right? Anyway, that was the problem, and it's now working just fine. Thanks a bunch for the tip, Jonathan! :D Bella'Mia 05:36, October 18, 2011 (UTC)
