rdfs:comment
Temporal Shift is a Blue Magic spell in Final Fantasy XI. Temporal shift was system used in Federation Starfleet starships in the alternate reality created by the temporal displacement of the Narada. When activated the temporal shift system would slow down time, allowing the ship using the system a significant tactical advantage, effectively making them faster and able to fire more weaponry. Centurion-class, Cetratus-class, Gladius-class, Patronus-class and Securis-class starships could all utilise the temporal shift system. (TOS video game: D-A-C) A temporal shift was a form of transport that was used to move beings through time. Emergency temporal shifts were normally used to make escapes, the traveller's power levels being greatly reduced. The Cult of Skaro escaped the Battle of Canary Wharf in 2007 through an emergency temporal shift (TV: Doomsday) and arrived in New York City in 1930. (TV: Daleks in Manhattan) Likewise, Dalek Caan used an emergency temporal shift to escape from New York after the Tenth Doctor foiled the plans of the Cult of Skaro and led the rebellion of the human-Daleks. With the other three Daleks dead, Caan alone escaped. (TV: Evolution of the Daleks) You can use Temporal Shift as part of a combo to create Attack Bonus. Can be paired with any of the following spells to create Attack Bonus combo. * Battle Dance * Uppercut * Death Scissors * Spinal Cleave * Thermal Pulse A temporal shift is an event in which a person or thing is transported from their time to another point within the space-time continuum. An example of such a phenomenon occurred in 2371, on stardate 48579.4, in the Delta Quadrant. The crew of the Federation starship USS Voyager detected a wormhole, which they used to make contact with Romulan scientist Telek R'Mor in the Alpha Quadrant. R'Mor eventually agreed to beam over to Voyager and back to his vessel, stating that he would arrange a transport vessel to take the lost crew back home. However, upon arrival, Lieutenant Tuvok realized that the wormhole was a bridge through time as well as space, and that Telek R'Mor was actually from 2351, twenty years in the past. n3:abstract
(TOS video game: D-A-C) A temporal shift is an event in which a person or thing is transported from their time to another point within the space-time continuum. (VOY: "Eye of the Needle") In the Star Trek D-A-C video game, set in the late-2250s alternate reality, Starfleet ships can pick up and utilize temporal shift systems from destroyed Romulan drone ships of the same era. When activated the ship moves faster in time than the surrounding space, creating a significant tactical advantage. You can use Temporal Shift as part of a combo to create Attack Bonus. Can be paired with any of the following spells to create Attack Bonus combo. * Battle Dance * Uppercut * Death Scissors * Spinal Cleave * Thermal Pulse A temporal shift was a form of transport that was used to move beings through time. (TV: Evolution of the Daleks) Caan ended up in the Time War, which was time-locked. The time window to enter it was a mere fraction of a second, impossible to reach. Regardless, Caan entered at the cost of his own sanity. (TV: The Stolen Earth) The Fifth Doctor performed a temporal shift to move the TARDIS away from an explosion. (AUDIO: Cobwebs) Cardinal Braxiatel stated that temporal shifts were relatively easy to engineer. (AUDIO: The Inquiry)
