Stoopa Ootmian
rdfs:comment
The first specific details about the moon is from 832 BBY, when a Human explorer visited the moon. The explorer landed on the surface, and was greeted by a voice in his head, repeating two words: "Stoopa Ootmian". The explorer, who had no knowledge of the Huttese language, fled in terror. He told the local (Hutt) authorities on Diyu, who had never bothered to name the barren little rock, about the incident. Upon closer inspection, it was revealed that the "voice" was a transmission constantly broadcasting from a broken transmitter, found in a pile of metal scrap.

Details of this event soon spread, and the comical phrase heard by the explorer soon became the moon's official name. Hundreds of year later, a Gran by the name of Ask Tharrus won Stoopa Ootmian from an unidentified nobleman. He was however soon forced to sell the moon to a Hutt by the name of Bargon Antivic, when Diyu plunged into a deep financial crisis Bargon made it his home and headquarters, reconstructing the moon's only structure into a palace, design with Jabba Desilijic Tiure's home in mind. He also started an information network based on the moon. He hired several servants and expanded his personal bodyguard, bringing the population up to about 200. Among other things, he also established a cantina, several stores and an infirmary. Drekk Azalus also reformed Bragon's guard to a well-trained militia.
