Tivus is a location - presumably a planet - which appears to exist within Galactic Federation space. It was the last location that the GFS Valhalla had traveled to before it suffered a fatal attack by Space Pirates. It was revealed during the Federation assault on the planet Phaaze that a battle formation is named after Tivus, and was employed by fighters during this battle. Tivus was the last location the G.F.S. Valhalla visited (having received new crew) before it was attacked by Space Pirates: "The G.F.S. Valhalla was on a training mission after receiving new crew at Tivus." Before the Seventh Fleet enters the wormhole created by the Leviathan Battleship to warp to Phaaze, it is ordered that "battle formation Tivus" be maintained: "Message to all ships: prepare for entry. Maintain battle formation Tivus."
