The Dorvain General Election, 1902 was held on the 27th May 1902 to elect the 26th Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dorvain. Each of the 125 parliamentary constituencies elected one Member of Parliament to Parliament. The election resulted in a crushing defeat for John Nixon's Democrats. Following high government spending, the nation went into recession, as the Royalists had warned. As such come the next election, the Royalists won a landslide under Charles James. Areas which had never voted Royalist cast their vote for the party, many feeling that the Democrats had abandoned the working class. This was the first Dorvanish election in the 20th century.
