Das erstaunlich war nicht nur, daß der Film zunächst tierisch floppte, bevor er zum Kult wurde, sondern auch, daß es die Band vom Film tatsächlich gab und sie mit ihr auch live auftraten. Davon gibt es einige Alben, die durchaus hörenswert sind ("Briefcase full of Blues" und "Made in America"). In den Museumslichtspielen müßte eigentlich noch immer einmal die Woche der Film laufen.
