The Unforgiven is a level 57 elite wraith in Stratholme. Not much is known about The Unforgiven, but some have mentioned his mask is a truly powerful item. The Unforgiven is themed around a boy who spends his life living in captivity inside a small, windowless room made entirely of stone. As the video progresses he ages into an adult and then an old man. He spends his entire life carving into the stone to create a window while occasionally grasping his one possession: a locket. It is inferred that another captive lives on the other side of the stone room. The video ends with the old man finally creating a window through which he deposits his possession and subsequently lays down to die. A 11:33, "theatrical" version of the video exists, featuring several minutes of introductory scenes which precede the timeline of the main portion of the video. This version was featured on The Videos 1989-2004, the band's 2006 music video compilation. The Unforgiven is the first glyph boss and can be found in the ancestral halls; to the right of Blood Raven's entrance. He is a fire based enemy and is accompanied by a few fire mage skeletons. He is usually the first majorly farmed gold find boss but can be a bit tricky at lower levels due to his high elemental damage and low resistances due to having gold find gear equipped. The best way to deal with him if you are over level 30 is to use a Dwarf Star as this will almost negate his attacks entirely and bares no restriction on the gold find gear you can wear.
