Yakow

The yakow is an animal in the Jak and Daxter series. It is a cross between a yak and a cow, as its name implies. They are large animals with a yellow hide, a large brown mane, a large head decorated with two large horns (similar to a yak), with a sturdy build supported by four hooved feet. In The Precursor Legacy, the only yakows seen are at Sandover Village's farm, featured in the mission "Herd the yakows into their pen", during which Jak had to collect the Farmer's yakows after they had scattered when lurkers frightened them. In Jak II, they are again seen similarly grouped behind a wooden fence in Haven City's Gardens.
