The Rebellion on Tatooine was the first official battle of the Private Clone Wars. The battle raged between the Legion of the 378th and the CIS Remnants. Both sides each had a tribe of Tusken Raiders fighting for them. The battle stretched out over a couple of days, and in the end the entire CIS force on Tatooine was wiped out, along with both tribes of Tusken Raiders and a troop of Jawas that watched the battle. Obi-Wan Kenobi secretly watched the battle from under the sand, while Owen Lars and a toddler Luke Skywalker saw the battle with macrobinoculars. The CIS was not defeated in this battle, however, and would return to fight the 378th and the Legion of the 614th.
