n19:abstract
Clone troopers were Human male clones of Jango Fett serving as members of the clone army created on the planet Kamino for the Galactic Republic. The first set of clone soldiers were created circa 32 BBY using Fett as a genetic base, and in the ten years that followed around five hundred thousand clones were combat ready with two and a half million more still being given their final training. After hearing reports from the Galactic Senate that the clone soldiers were a threat to the Republic, Jedi Master Mace Windy traveled to Kamino where he discovered that the troopers were meant to fight for the Republic. He was shown the clone training facilities in the planet's Tipoca City while trying to determine whether or not the clones could truly be considered Humans.
