Gorga Desilijic Tiure
rdfs:comment
Gorga Desilijic Tiure, known as Gorga the Hutt, or Jedi Gorga, was a Hutt of the Jedi Order and the Grand Army of the Republic. He served alongside a fellow Hutt Kolluga Desilijic Fortiure and his father in the Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, and the Hutt-Black Sun War. Gorga was one of the few surviving 200 Jedi Knights during the Battle of Geonosis in 22 BBY. He, besides four other Hutts, was the only known Hutt of the Jedi Order, and unlike many of the Hutts, Gorga did not leave the Order to regain power and wealth. In 30 ABY, Gorga became a leading member of the Jedi Council. In 137 ABY, Gorga was one of the few Jedi at the Temple to have accepted and welcome Boldor the Hutt back to the Light side of the Force and the New Jedi Order.

n31:abstract
Nearly 50 years later, Gorga and the rest of the Council discussed the decision to have the undercover Sith Lord Darth Tambor executed, which they did. After the vote, members of the Council, including Gorga, were being threatened by anonymous senators, which were undercover Sith, and bounty hunters were being sent after. But when Gorga and fellow Council member Boldor had captured the bounty hunters, the two Hutts had forced them to tell them who had hired them and the hunters had given them a list of the ones who hired them. Gorga and Boldor had soon presented the list to the Council and they arrested the traitors and had them executed by the Courts.
