rdfs:comment
Ore Mines are the primary source of income in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 and its expansion Uprising. These neutral mines contain unrefined ore, which must be processed by an ore refinery in order to generate funds. Ore collectors can collect 250 units of ore from an Ore Mine each time. The total amount of ore in a particular Ore Mine is limited, and they can be seen visibly becoming emptier after prolonged mining, eventually becoming "depleted" when the amount reaches zero. Once depleted, Ore Mines can still provide ore, but only at 25 units each time. In the later Heroes games (Heroes of Might and Magic III onwards), the structure is renamed the ore pit. Also, the hero can place creatures in mines to defend their resource-producing buildings from other heroes that may try to claim them.

n11:abstract
Ore Mines are the primary source of income in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 and its expansion Uprising. These neutral mines contain unrefined ore, which must be processed by an ore refinery in order to generate funds. Ore collectors can collect 250 units of ore from an Ore Mine each time. The total amount of ore in a particular Ore Mine is limited, and they can be seen visibly becoming emptier after prolonged mining, eventually becoming "depleted" when the amount reaches zero. Once depleted, Ore Mines can still provide ore, but only at 25 units each time. The Allied Free Trade upgrade improves the efficiency of ore collection by 25%, allowing each ore load to be converted into 312 credits, though the actual amount of ore taken is still 250 units. Ore Mines are amphibious, and can be found both on land and at sea. In the later Heroes games (Heroes of Might and Magic III onwards), the structure is renamed the ore pit. Also, the hero can place creatures in mines to defend their resource-producing buildings from other heroes that may try to claim them.
