The music blog, theBlueWalrus, was created by Tim Dickinson in April 2006. It was originally started to showcase his musical tastes, but has since turned into a way to review, share and promote new music. Most of the music that is available is from indie labels, some mp3s are sent by labels, some from friends, and others from the bands/musicians themselves. Reviews of new bands is the regular format of posts, with an aim to move into interviews and gig reviews over the coming months. Most the music is from the UK or has a UK influence, with others involved as bloggers on the site from different UK cities with different new band rosters.
