Image:Pokéball Sprite.png This Pokémon related article is a stub. Please help by expanding it. Image:Pokéball Sprite.png Black Sludge is an item in various Pokémon games. It restores a Poison type Pokémon's HP when held, but will lower any other type of Pokémon's health. It is sometimes found being held by wild Croagunks and Toxicroaks. Black Sludge is an item in Generation IV that restores a little bit of health for Poison-type Pokémon each turn if the following Pokémon uses it as a held item. Other Pokémon that are not Poison will lose damage each turn if held. It can be sold for 100 Pokédollars. They can be found on wild Croagunks and Toxicroaks in the Sinnoh region games while in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Black Sludge can also be found in Cerulean Cave. It is useful if you have the TM Fling in order to throw the item to the opponent to cause damage if it is not a poison-type Pokémon.
