Cocodrie is an unincorporated fishing, shrimping and crabbing village in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, United States. Cocodrie is a waterfront town, located due west of Grand Isle, on an inlet of another bay blocked by several barrier islands along the Gulf of Mexico. Following the breach of the Liberty Defense Perimeter by the Chimera, Cocodrie became one of the only safe locations left in the United States. On June 26th, 1953, SRPA planned Operation Black Eden in using Cocodrie as a launchpad to the Chimeran fleet situated over the Chicxulub Crater and allowing a fission bomb to be delivered into the fleet's flagship. However, the delivery of the bomb through Cocodrie was treacherous as some parts of the town were heavily occupied by the Chimera.
