Melkor Belegûr, later simply known as Melkor before being given the name Morgoth, was a male Ainu of Tython. A survivor of the Force Wars, Belegûr took refuge on the moon Bogan during the conflict with Infinite Empire and emerged fifteen years later to discover that the Je'daii had abandoned Tython and left the world in shambles. Descending to the war-torn surface after centuries of searching for the Flame Imperishable, Belegûr discovered that other Je'daii had survived and had settled themselves on Arda continent. Belegûr became jealous of their creations and acted out of hatred, attacking them and their creations and beginning a millennia-spanning conflict with the Je'daii Masters calling themselves the Valar.
