The lake had once used to be a town, but now it's a juvenile delinquent detention camp. The camp is run by the family that owned the town. There once was a lake at Camp Green Lake. However, that lake dried up long ago. At this establishment, juveniles are put to work digging a 5 foot deep by 5 feet in diameter hole. The Warden claims that it will help them build character. The real reason behind her doing this, however, was to have the campers dig to attempt to find the location of the loot hidden in the desert by Kissin' Kate Barlow. A lake in Porlaso * Inhabited by Dinosaurs and Jaskali Source: Guide to Glorantha Green Lake is the largest lake in the Cradle, and it seperates the principalities of Bectin, Eirebenacht, and Albatiia. The Benachtian capitol city, Cailan, as does the Bectonian city of Wimille. Greenlake is directly north of Wallingford, and northwest of the U-District. It's one of the nicest places to be in the summer. There's a 2-3/4 mile (4km) jogging and biking path around the lake, always full of people. On the northeast corner there's a small beach area which is open for swimming in the summer, though the water's not the cleanest. Specifically, the water is contaminated by a certain algae that has been known to cause itchiness and skin irritation.
