Battlestar Athena/Miniseries

The first mission of the Battlestar Athena was categorised as a 'Miniseries' for two reasons; * The first, is that it was a pilot mission, to 'wet the Athena's feet' and so was very like the miniseries of Battlestar Galactica, which acted in the same way as a pilot episode would. * The second reason, is that it precludes all other missions in the conventional time line. "Ye Land Lubbing Scallywags!" takes place roughly one year prior to the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, and so would not have fit in with episodes or missions that would be deemed as Series 1, taking place during and shortly after the Cylon attack.
