Among the dead Among the Dead Among The Dead
rdfs:comment
-- Duran Duran, “Hungry Like the Wolf” I don't know if I've ever seen anything like it. I mean, I'm used to this sort of stuff. It's right up her alley. She and her "crew" enter a club, attack the crazy partying teenagers, and they disappear without a trace. But this time was different. The bodies. It smells like blood. And a very faint trace of vanilla. I turn around slowly. "Who are you?" "You don't know who I am?" she says. "Wait? Are you..." says Ferb, "Her?" "I suppose I am. Why? You surprised?" "A bit," I say. "You don't look like some psycho murderer." "You'd be surprised." Among The Dead is the 19th mission of Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel. "Among the Dead" is a short story collected in Blood and Ivory: A Tapestry. It fills in more detail about Tori and Jame growing up in the Keep in the Haunted Lands, about Winter, and about the events surrounding Jame's expulsion into the arms of Perimal Darkling. Several years ago, a Taldan Zyphus cult took over a famous Oppara opera house, murdered a Pathfinder, and turned dozens of Taldor's wealthiest citizens into the walking dead. The Pathfinder Society has finally tracked down their hideout and sends you to Oppara for one purpose: revenge. Can you face the servants of Golarion's god of accidents unharmed or will you find yourself among Zyphus's cursed souls? Among the Dead is a follow-up scenario to Pathfinder Society Scenario #7: Among the Living. When played together, the scenarios create a mini story arc in Taldor's gilded capital, Oppara.

The bodies. There was no trace of her. This can't be right. She always leaves something. Usually shattered windows, broken lights, a knife... She's never actually left the scene barren. Just rubble. As though the club was blown up. I look at Ferb. He looks just as confused as I felt. I start to pick up some pieces of light fixtures, trying to look if she tried to cover up her tracks. Ferb helps. Until I smell something.
