The Zinthians then sworn to avoid a future war by never again traveling to the stars and that their isolationist sentiment soon evolved into a religion in which even to gaze at the stars was considered blasphemy. Zintha's isolation was forever changed when native Zinthian Lysandra became a Green Lantern. Given to her dilemma, Lysandra was granted by the Guardians of the Universe a special dispensation to be the Green Lantern for Zintha alone. The people of Zintha then believed Lysandra to be an agent of Thar and accepted her aid whenever trouble arise. Thar later was about to give birth to another sun, in which the Zinthians had mistaken for the sun about to turn into a supernova and thereby destroying their planet. Lysandra believed the only way they could save themselves without leaving Zintha was by moving the planet itself and the people of Zintha channeled their wills into Lysandra's power battery. However, Green Lantern Spol stopped their attempt and explained to Lysandra what Thar is and that the movement of the planet would cause an imbalance fatal to the living star. Both Green Lanterns corrected Zintha's orbit as Thar gave birth, allowing the presence of two suns to warm Zintha just as the planet's inhabitants, for the first time in eons, to look towards the heavens.
