The crown's first two abilities allow the user to temporarily upgrade their weapons and armor during battle to make them stronger. Weapons and armor used in this manner are consumed like usable items. The crown's third ability, Refurbish, allows the user to revive a dead ally with fully restored HP. The Seamstress's final ability, Sew Together, causes the user and an ally to combine their levels and double the user's stats."@en . . . The Seamstress's final ability, Sew Together, causes the user and an ally to combine their levels and double the user's stats. Most of these abilities eventually become obsolete since the player can permanently upgrade their equipment in Urbeth and Sew Together becomes useless when Lux becomes available. Refurbish maintains its value, because it is a less expensive alternative of Arise. The Seamstress does not become a damage dealing class until the player obtains a needle from the bonus dungeons. During the final stages of the game, the Seamstress should only be used as damage dealing class or should support the party with Refurbish. The job's special armor, Seamstress Clothes, provides a 5% boost to the user's Defense, Magic Defense, Evade, and Magic Evade."@en . .
