"The crown's special ability allows the user to gain a stat boost when they are equipped with a book. The crown is a decent support job in battle, since three of the crown's abilities lower the enemy defense and attack stats. This will make battles simpler, since it will cause the enemies to take less out of the player's party and allows the player to deal more damage out of the enemies. The crown's third ability can be useful, since it causes all enemies to act last each turn."@en . . . . . . . . . . . . . . These abilities are useful in the earlier stages of the game, since the Suppress spell and Shaman crown do not become available until the later. Scholar has a high Intellect multipliers, but suffers from low Strength, as the Scholar has the second worst Strength in the game tied with the Black Mage. The Scholar crown has decent proficiency with both kinds of magic, but they should only use low or mid-level spells to avoid wasting AP. The job's special armor, Scholar Gown, provides a 20% boost to the user's Intellect."@en . "Scholar (The 4 Heroes of Light)"@en . .
