"In flashback, Birdy said if he had noticed Mighty's injury and not collapse during mission, Mighty would not had disappeared. Shirobom ran off from Birdy's taxi. Shirobom decided to believe Max is Mighty. Nightly called Birdy to meet someone, whom had information about Mighty.\n\nBirdy's ship left planet Jetter, with Shout monitoring the ship's movement. In Shout's flashback, Birdy had told Shirobom to shut up when Shirobom was about to reveal Max's identity. In planets Tagaya and Otto, Shirobom had referred to Max as his brother.\n\nIn another planet, Nightly led Birdy to Mujoe, with Shout following them. Mujoe asked information about Max. Birdy gave Mujoe a disk, but Mujoe gave Birdy back the disk, claiming he did not need it. Birdy said Mujoe had been demoted, but Mujoe denied it was the reason for returning the disk. Mujoe said Mighty had died. Birdy noticed someone had been watching the conversation. In planet Jetter, Birdy asked if Shout had heard the news, then Birdy told Shout not to give the information to Shirobom, and he would tell Mighty is fine, because Shirobom still believed Max is Mighty. In noodle store, Shirobom complained about washing dishes, but Shout did not say anything. Shirobom said something was wrong with Shout. Shout told Shirobom to play outside with Louie. Shirobom asked Shout if he can take Louie in next mission, because Louie had been living in planet Bomber, so Louie might recognize Mighty. In Shout's room, there was a picture of Shout and Natsumi together. In Shout's flashback, Shout told her father that she would work hard to fill the role that Natsumi once filled, so they could eventually open restaurants in other planets and make a lot of money. Outside Jetters base, Shirobom, Bongo worried about Shout. Gangu decided to investigate what was behind Shout's trouble. In a street, Shout thought it was difficult for her to accept that Natsumi would never return. Meanwhile, Shirobom, Louie, Bongo, Gangu watched Shout from a street corner. Gangu said Shout wanted the clothes inside the store next to her, but the dress was too expensive. The dress was sold to a family of 3 that came out of the store. Shout said the family had bad taste, and she would never wear such clothes. Gangu said the restaurant was not doing well, so the was searching for spare change on the ground. Shout walked pass another noodle restaurant, then Gangu said Shout did not want to look at noodle soups. When Shout returned to home, Gangu welcomed Shout. Shirobom gave Shout a bowl of grilled octopus ball noodle. Shirobom added sauce and mayonnaise to the bowl. Louie, Bongo, Shout looked awful. Shout said such noodle could be served in the restaurant. Gangu said it was his attempt to save the restaurant. Shout denied the restaurant was floundering, and asked why would grilled octopus ball be put in noodle. Shirobom said Mighty loved grilled octopus ball, and he loved it as well. Shout told others to clean up and left.\n\nIn Shout's room, Shout thought about Shirobom and his brother. Gangu realized the Jetters had not been dispatched for a whole week, so Shout felt unfulfilled for lack of missions. Outside the store, Shout wondered if she should tell Shirobom the truth. Shout receive a call from disguided Gangu voice that a unique golden noodle bowl had been stolen in planet Jetter. Meanwhile, Shirobom was watching Shout from behind bushes. Gangu asked Shout's location. Shout said she was by a park. Gangu said the Higehige was heading to the park. Gangu told Shirobom, Louie, Bongo that the should dressed like Higehige members. Shirobom, Louie, Bongo appeared from above the slope behind Shout, as Higehige bandits. However, Louie used the wrong voice for Higehige bandit. Gangu appeared with a golden bowl, as the fifth quartet king. Shout asked how could there be a fifth member among quartet kings. Gangu said he was a substitute. Shout asked what was the fifth quartet king's element. Gangu said it was metal. Gangu was hit by Shout's boomerang, then Gangu dropped the bowl and broke it. Gangu, Shirobom, Louie, Bongo ran away, then they reappeared without the costumes. Gangu picked up the shattered bowl, then it shattered again. Shout thanked the others and said they had thought her was depressed, so they had thought of such scheme to cheer her up. Gangu denied such scheme. Shout said she felt okay now. Shirobom said Shout usually nagged and yelled at him, and alway beat him. Shirobom was knocked down by Gangu. Shout said there would be a festival tonight, and they should go together. Shirobom agreed. At night, fireworks were fired into sky. Shirobom and company bought octopus balls, mask, cosmo cotton candy. Shirobom said Momo would take them to festival on planet Bomber, and Mighty was good at target shooting and would won a lot of toys, and Mighty had bought Shirobom octopus ball, and had thrown fireworks bomb. Shirobom threw a fireworks bomb. Shirobom wished Mighty could see him throwing fireworks bomb. Birdy's taxi stopped behind Shirobom, Shout, Louie, Bongo, Gangu. Shout said Shirobom had thought about Mighty for too long. Shirobom asked why. Shout said Shirobom has 3 bombstars, and is Hiroshi's older brother. Shirobom said he would always be Mighty's younger brother. Shout said Shirobom could not be spoiled forever. Shirobom vowed he would save Max when they meet next time. Shirobom said Mighty's memory was lost in the accident, and if he took Louie along, Mighty would remember them, because Max is Mighty. Shout said Mighty was dead. Potter said the kiln soil is used to make kiln, and it can be made to resist fire by baking.\n\nInside Drill Jetter, Shout said Gran Bomber was just lost. Drill Jetters dug into a place with hot springs. Shout said it was a site of the ancient civilization. Shout and Gangu saw the egg. Shirobom decided to take a bath. Shout told Shirobom to stop, because it is the female bath time. Shirobom said he was still a kid. Shout told Shirobom to drink fruit flavoured milk. Mujoe's ship landed in the ruins. When Shirobom opened the door to undressing room, Shirobom, Gangu, Bongo saw Mujoe was standing in front of Shout, who was on a scale. Mujoe asked where was Gran Bomber. Gangu said Gran Bomber was on an important mission. Shout appeared, then Gran Bomber emerged from an explosion above the ruins. Gran Bomber challenged Shirobom. Shirobom said Gran Bomber cannot win. Thunder Bomber suggested he would fight instead, but Mujoe said they should leave it to Gran Bomber. Gran Bomber summoned the field. Gran Bomber and Shirobom each threw a bomb, then a brick wall appeared after the explosion was cleared. Bongo said the bricks can block fire. Gran Bomber said it was brick bomb. Gran Bomber and Shirobom threw bombs again. Thunder Bomber realized Brick bomb is only a defensive technique, and Gran Bomber cannot win. In the field, Gran Bomber was panting. Shirobom told Gran Bomber to quit. Gran Bomber demanded Shirobom to attack. Gran Bomber said Shirobom resembled Mighty, and Mighty was a coward. Shirobom threw bomb at Gran Bomber and hit. Shirobom said Gran Bomber was just trying to make him angry, but Gran Bomber denied. Gran Bomber demanded more attacks, but Shirobom refused. Gran Bomber tried to throw Clay bomb, but Gran Bomber dropped the bomb instead, and split the ground. Shirobom fell into the chasm, then Gran Bomber caught Shirobom's hand. Gran Bomber asked Shirobom for forgiveness. Gran Bomber asked Shirobom to turn him back into a Charabom. Gran Bomber said he is part of Higehige, but if he turned back into a Charabom, then he would not belong to Higehige or Jetters. Gran Bomber vowed to plan rice together in future. Gran Bomber threw Shirobom into the air and demand for a fight. At evening, 3 Rapid Panthers appeared. Mujoe appeared besides Shirobom and said Gran Bomber had fought Shirobom fairly to the end. Mujoe said Gran Bomber was a good rival. Shirobom picked up a branch of rice grains and remembered Gran Bomber's promise."@en . . "24"^^ . "25"^^ . "22"^^ . "The Jetters are an intergalactic police force apparently formed for the sole purpose of fighting the Hige-Hige Bandits, a spacefaring criminal organization with the single goal of amassing all the one-of-a-kind objects in the universe. The battle against the Hige-Hige Bandits is going well, until the leader of the Jetters, the infallible Legendary Bomberman Mighty goes MIA after the first episode. The Jetters need a new Bomberman for the team, and believing badassery to be In the Blood go straight to Mighty's younger brother, White Bomber. Problem is, White Bomber is Just a Kid, and the Jetters suddenly find themselves on the losing end of the fight. This isn't helped by the appearance of a new secret weapon the Hige-Hige Bandits are fielding: a sinister Bomberman called MAX, whose techniques are highly reminiscent of Mighty's... Make no mistake, Bomberman Jetters really is a kids' show, but for all that, it's pretty well done. The writers have skillfully avoided the problems associated with The Anime of the Game by doing their absolute best with the source material, which turns out to be quite a lot as the series moves from a Strictly Formula Monster of the Week show into compelling drama with more Character Development than you can shake a stick at. You kind of even stop hating White Bomber in the end. Highly recommended for children and the childlike as well as Bomberman fans who can get over the fact that Max is the bad guy now. This show provides examples of: \n* The Abridged Series: Jetters Abridged By Team Bulge Bomb, a sister group to the creators of Sgt Frog Abridged. Notably an Abridged Series that various goons at Something Awful have actually liked. \n* The Ace: Mighty is portrayed as this at first--only for it to get deconstructed later as it is revealed that he fell for Mechadoc's Xanatos Gambit and died as a result. Other of his screw-ups and Fatal Flaws come to light during the series. \n* Adaptation Distillation: You'd be surprised at what they can do with an Excuse Plot franchise. \n* Aloof Big Brother: Arguably subverted by Mighty, as he is aloof only geographically and is about the kindest person in the world. \n* The Anime of the Game: Of Bomberman, of course. \n* Bad Guy Bar: Mama's bar. \n* Big Ol' Eyebrows: Mighty; aside from height, this is about the only thing that distinguishes White Bomber from him. \n* And his boots, but a lot of people miss those at first. \n* But his are nothing compared to Thunder Bomber's. \n* Break the Cutie: Both White Bomber and Shout get this around the halfway point on discovering Mighty's death. \n* Calling Your Attacks: \"BOMBER SHOOT!\" \n* Character Development \n* Coming of Age Story: The whole series arguably works to make White Bomber less detestable. \n* Cosmic Keystone: The Bomb Crystal. \n* Crash Into Hello: Literally done when White Bomber crashes his ship into Shout's scooter. \n* Dead Little Sister: Missing Big Brother for White Bomber. \n* The Dragon: Mujoe \n* And the dragon gets his own dragon, Thunder Bomber. \n* Empathic Weapon: The Bombermen's bombs: \"The power of the bomb does not lie in the bomb itself...it lies in your heart!\" \n* Evil Tower of Ominousness: The Hige-Hige Bandits' headquarters: a tower !! \n* The Faceless: Shout's father, Twist. \n* There is a single episode where his entire face is shown. He's about the most normal-looking person on the show. \n* Fairy Tale Motifs : Mermaid Bomber's storyline has paralells to the Non-Disneyfied The Little Mermaid. \n* Five-Man Band: \n* The Hero: White Bomber / Mighty \n* The Lancer: Birdy \n* The Big Guy / The Smart Guy: Bongo \n* The Smart Guy / Team Pet: Gangu \n* The Chick: Shout, also The Captain after Mighty's disappearance. \n* + The Mentor / The Professor / Mission Control: Dr. Ein \n* Four Is Death: The Bomber Shitennou \n* Hey, It's That Voice!: K\u014Dji Ishii and Tetsuya Yanagihara, Mujoe and Gangu's seiyuu, play card games these days. \n* Rui is also Mai Valentine. \n* White Bomber is Calumon. \n* Mighty has recently gotten a thing for throwing Hadoukens and Poundcake. \n* Thunder Bomberman is Miles Edgeworth. \n* Mechadoc sells furniture in exchange for Bells. (Movie only, mind!) \n* Dr Ein is also Ebisumaru. \n* Misty is Ash. \n* Identical Grandson: Mighty and his grandfather, literally. \n* Idiot Hero: White Bomber, oh so much. \n* Joke Character: Seagull Bomber \n* Kid Hero: White Bomber, very much as well. \n* Large Ham: Mujoe. Grand Bomber also. \n* Luke, I Am Your Father: subverted: Everyone from the viewers to the cast is led to believe that MAX really is Mighty...and turns out, he isn't. Double subverted in that an earlier prototype, MA-0, has Mighty's soul. Then triple subverted when MA-0 realizes that even with Mighty's soul and memories, he's still the android who killed Mighty, not White Bomber's missing brother. \n* Mid Season Wham Episode: 23, 24 and 25 are all this. White Bomber discovers his brother died a horrific and lonely death, Shout's tearful backstory is explained when she resigns from the Jetters and Max is revealed to have been the one to kill Mighty, all with lots of crying. Needless to say, you'll want tissues. \n* Minion with an F In Evil: Mujoe (possibly Grand Bomber as well) \n* The basic Hige-Hige minions also qualify. On several occasions, they actually helped White Bomber overcome some distraction (can't find the bathroom, overcoming his fear of needles so he could be cured of an illness) that was keeping him from stopping them. Immediately after, Mujoe would scold them and White Bomber would kick their asses. \n* Mecha-Mooks: The Hige-Higes, apparently, but they are Ridiculously-Human Robots in that they need to eat, enjoy recreation, and pursue the attention of the other gender. \n* My Hero Zero: MAX's first prototype, MA-0, or just \"Zero\" among friends. Is also Mighty, which is where The Hero comes from. \n* No Export for You: Unfortunately, the series never got a dub. (the localized, Macekre rendered video game notwithstanding). \n* No Kill Like Overkill: Flame Bomber almost kills White Bomber while he was playing around in their first battle. \n* No Mouth: Any of the Bomber characters. \n* No Waterproofing in the Future : Episode 2 starts off with White Bomber's spaceship crashing, the reason, juice spill. \n* Old Master: Momo / Grandma Bomber \n* Parental Abandonment: White Bomber and Mighty's parents are never ever mentioned, leaving them both under their grandmother's care. It appears from the Flash Backs that Mighty had also received a Promotion to Parent, but then he disappears, too. Man, not a happy family. Shout's mother is dead, too. \n* Perpetual Poverty: Despite being a highly trained special unit, the Jetters apparently have notoriously poor funding; many of its members hold other jobs just to get by. \n* Punny Name: Twist and Shout. \n* Quirky Miniboss Squad: Mujoe and his subordinate Hige-Higes. \n* Recursive Adaptation: The show also has a game based on it. \n* Red Eyes, Take Warning: MAX's eye cover things are red, the first sign that he isn't like his game counterpart (where they're blue) \n* Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Thunder Bomber after his brothers and sister are killed and Mujoe has been demoted from commander to mail delivery. \n* Space Police: The Jetters \n* Spoiled Brat: Mermaid Bomber, boy howdy. \n* Strange Salute: The Hige-Hige Bandits have a highly...idiosyncratic salute. \n* The Syndicate: The Hige-Hige Bandits \n* Wham! Line: At the end of 23;"@en . "The Last Day of Bomber Star!"@en . "12"^^ . The show ran for a total of 52 episodes in Japan on TV Tokyo. The soundtrack was composed by Kazunori Maruyama.
