. "The Shaman is a good addition in battle since they reduce the AP cost for using Dark Magic by one, and they have a high Intellect attribute. The Shaman allows Dark Magic to be more effective on harder enemies and bosses. Their first abilities, Ritual and Hex, are valuable for allowing status reducing spells to be used on all enemies and have a higher chance of working. The Shaman also has dangerous abilities that can stop time and reduce HP for both friend and foe alike. The job's special armor, Shaman Robe, provides a 10% boost to the user's Accuracy and Intellect."@en . . . . . "Shaman (The 4 Heroes of Light)"@en . . . . Drain isn't weaker than other spells in this game, as opposed to most other Final Fantasy games, and when used coupled with Ritual and Hex the Shaman is able to drain HP from all opponents, meaning they are unlikely to need any healing. The Shaman's ultimate ability, Forbidden Art, is best used with the Old Shoes accessory that lets the Shaman always act last, and when someone else has the Hermes Sandals equipped, to let them act first on the next turn."@en . . . . . . . . . .
