"Although Peel had an adversion towards the other band in which drummer/vocalist Phil Collins performed, Genesis, he was interested in this jazz fusion experimental project. In Ken Garner's Peel Sessions (BBC Books, 2007, pg 88), Collins recalled: \"There were no other places that would play Brand X then; it was only people like Peel, who, whilst as \"Phil Collins\", he probably wouldn't be very interested in what I did, seemed to take a bit of an interest in Brand X, because it was such an odd mixture of music., and it was a growing music, living and breathing.\" The band's rhytmic section (Collins and Jones) performed on many tracks by Brian Eno, including albums that Peel was enthusiastic about, such as \"Another Green World\", \"Before and After Science\" and \"Music for Films\". Additionally, bassist Percy Jones had previously been a member of the Liverpool Scene, who were regularly featured on Peel's early BBC shows and whose first LP Peel had produced in 1968. Brand X's second session was repeated for 1976 Festive Fifty and they werefeatured on the 1991 documentary about the Radio 1 sessions \"Look Out, It's Alive!\", produced by John Walters."@en . .
