However, he survives barely but was brought back and imbused with the powers of a Dark Sider by The Dark Master. As the series progress he becomes the guardian of Sherry. Midnight is critically wounded in a duel with Alyssa Church when she attempts to assume guardianship of Sherry. His fate is left uncertain when he tells Sherry to leave him for dead on the side of a mountain road in the Vale.
